These online practical Masterclasses introduce our work. Whether you want regular practice sessions or want to know more about our courses, these Masterclasses show you how to make your writing stand out.
We analyse a sample text and take you through the editing steps; our aim is to produce writing which is coherent, cohesive and readable.
What you will learn
In addition to produce grammatically correct sentences, we focus on:
  • sentence structure, composition and flow
  • selecting suitable vocabulary
  • creating readable text
  • eliminating the unnecessary
  • adding drama where and when required
  • producing a coherent, cohesive and reader-centric text
What you can expect
Your online mentor will take you through a sample writing, analysing its strengths and weaknesses.

We encourage you to ask questions! Masterclasses are limited to six participants, so you will have plenty of opportunities.
We will see:
  • why sentences need changing or deleting
  • why some structures are better than others
  • which words work better and why
  • where we can break the rules, and why
  • practise: the best way to learn
