Courses

The Polished Sentence
Sentence structure is important; it provides us with the framework on which to change our ideas, and allows us to communicate clearly, with credibility.

Furthermore, sentence variety gives writing life and rhythm. Multiple sentences with the same structure and length is monotonous; long sentences can incorporate much information, whereas short sentences can provide impact and strength.
Our innovative course has been designed for those who require flexibility; guided independent study, online practice elements, while bringing everything together with writing tasks.

Although designed for flexibility and independence, you are not alone. Your mentor is there to support and guide you; answering questions, commentating on your work, and advising on improvements.
Who is this course designed for?

Like bricks for a building, sentences are foundational for writing. However, building a structure which is clear, consistent and understandable takes time and much effort. Although revising sentence fundamentals, this course also shows how best to illustrate your ideas. Whether you write emails, reports or something longer, this course is suitable for those who want to focus on what makes a good sentence, and how to improve their technique.
