Persuasive Writing Techniques
No one word is independently persuasive but an effective combination has the ability to transform an uninspiring composition into a compelling one.

Persuading through logic and facts may convince some but emotion frequently plays its part, and we need to make it easier for the reader to trust us. In addition, we must capture their imagination and provide inspiration before producing facts and evidence. Persuasion is not about saying we should be trusted but showing why we should be trusted.
Our innovative course has been designed for those who require flexibility; guided independent study, online practice elements, while bringing everything together with writing tasks.

Although designed for flexibility and independence, you are not alone. Your mentor is there to support and guide you; answering questions, commentating on your work, and advising on improvements.
Who is this designed for?

Whether a report, proposal or letter, persuasive writing is challenging. Whatever the situation, selecting appropriate words and structures require thought and care. Presenting facts may be straightforward but a clear explanation, illustrating the advantages,  possibilities and merits of your view, takes skill. This course is designed for those who want their writing to be expressed in the best possible manner, whether to clients, staff or external contacts.
